Vera Chelnokov
Seamstress/Tailor
Vera emigrated from the Ukraine in 1989 to escape religious persecution due to her Christian beliefs. She bought the Alteration shop 15 years ago. Vera attended the School of Design in the Ukraine and graduated in 1982. Over 30 years of experience!
Alex Chelnokov
Cobbler
Alex also emigrated from the Ukraine in 1989 along with Vera. His great grandfather was the village cobbler, Alex would spend many evenings watching him work his trade for the locals and army regimes. Upon arrival in the U.S. he worked at PGT to provide for the family and help Vera with funds for the buisness. After gathering an satisfactory amount they have expanded the business to accomadate shoe repair as well.
